About the Event
We all know that December can be a stressful time of year. Our December mixer will give you an opportunity to Find Your Peace. Join us at Saber & Quill for lunch and a guided meditation that you will be able to use whenever you need to take a moment. There will also be many Fort Knox organizations and providers who will share information on how you can manage stress and support your wellness all year long. Local vendors will also be there!
The planned menu is:
Garden Salad
Roasted Sliced Turkey Breast
Cornbread Dressing
Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
Seasoned Green Beans
Rolls
Apple or Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream
Our community service organization for December is the Fort Knox Santa's Workshop. They are looking for volunteers to help recipients shop for gifts. We are also collecting USED sneakers! We all have old shoes hanging around, instead of tossing them in the trash, bring them to the mixer and we will send them to GotSneakers for recycling! They will make a donation to us per pair, based on condition. Please, only bring sneakers/athletic shoes. No dress shoes, heels, sandals, wedges, water socks, rain boots, crocs, or other non-athletic styles.
